Third Quarter

The13% increase in profit this quarter was largely due to the continued hard work and dedication of you, the employees! In any market this is a great accomplishment, in this market it was next to impossible!  As we near year end this sets us up very well for raise and bonus season!
Several specific factors account for this rise in profit. A shout goes out to the marketing department for their work this past year to build the company’s brand. Their groundwork enabled each and every one of us to show increased value to our customers this quarter. The professional services team has streamlined their processes to deliver high quality projects under budget and on time, adding to the bottom line. The Datacenter team continues to do their part, consistently delivering 99.9999% uptime.
There is a specific component of the business that we will leverage in the next quarter to continue this upward trend. The solution development team has struggled to find and grow new opportunities. The sales and marketing team will shift focus toward up-selling the solution development products. Let’s continue the hard work and finish the year even stronger!

  1. I liked how you singled out specific examples of good work that lead to your companies performance. I think the risk you run there is that you leave someone out. I would have liked to have seen more sticky concepts used in your message. There weren't necessarily any points which really stuck in my head after reading this.

  2. Daniel, I think you provided good detail and examples of what happened in the third quarter. The references to what areas did what will help to deliver the message. A good summary of saying what needs to happen in the 4th quarter and the mention of bonus helps!

  4. Nice job. You start off with what has been accomplished and mention who contributed and how everyone the benefits of good performance. I like your strategy of using "shout outs." Seeing as this is a script, it gives an opporutunity for the speaker to pause and the audience to give applause.

  12. Nice flow, very informal language implies you are part of the group and very approachable. Is that a good thing? It may be in your company's culture. I did feel like you were talking to me not at me. Good work.
